Nigerian Government is ready to Pardon the head of Boko Haram Abubakar Shekau.

The Nigerian Government is ready to pardon the crimes of Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau. He was involved in multiple attacks on the churches, homes, and Villages which led the lives of thousands of innocents.

Since 2010, Boko Haram had begun splintering into multiple factions sometime after Yusuf’s death, but the main faction being led by Shekau. Security reports indicated that Boko Haram had links with other terrorist networks such as al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghrib (AQIM) and al-Shabaab in Somalia.

According to Military Coordinator of the Directorate of Defence Media Operations, Mr. John Enenche, If Abubakar Shekau will surrender, it will be in accordance with the surrendering procedure of “conflict or War”.

The latest released videos of Shekau’s are subjected to forensic analysis. There are rumor’s that they are ready to surrender. If the insurgents genuinely want to surrender, there is a procedure to do that.

If Shekau surrenders through the procedure, we will accept it,” he furtherly stated.

The Military authorities recently said that with the grand offensive mounted by the Armed Forces of Nigeria against Boko Haram and the Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP), that might be the reason of Shekau, is surrendering.
