The world is struggling to determine how to respond to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. It has swiftly turned into an international crisis. The unprecedented lockdown and curfews have caused millions of the (already) deprived to reach complete hopelessness.

For years our organization has worked in Pakistan against the religious persecution and discrimination with the minorities (especially with the Christians). In some regions of Pakistan, we are the only support these minorities have.

Christians who are a small number in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan often face high levels of persecution and discrimination. In fact, Christians of Pakistan have never been treated as equal citizens and given the freedom of expression.

Currently, while the world is fighting against the Coronavirus, once again the Pakistani Government is failing to provide even basic assistance to the religious minorities living in its borders.

Like the rest of the world, the Pakistani Government has also locked down its major cities and provinces, without accounting for the situation in the poor class. Pakistan has a high percentage of people surviving on daily wages to feed their families and have no savings to fall back on.

Christians are a highly marginalized group of people in Pakistan. Around 70% of the Christians scrape by on their daily wages. These circumstances have puts Christians and other religious minorities in a dire situation where they cannot even afford basic food needs.

Even during the Corona Virus, the discrimination and persecution of Christians continues. Government and major Muslim Organizations (Supported by the Government) have rejected Christians and Hindus completely, refusing to supply even minimal food packages.

Here is an Evidence, that the Government supported Organizations refused to support Christians.

It is our fear that thousands of Christians and Hindus will die from starvation, suffer from deep depression and get killed by the virus itself.

As an organization working in Pakistan, we have been approached to help with food packages by hundreds of families (especially the Sindh and Punjab regions). Currently, we are working on supplying these food packages to the Pakistani Christians and other Religious Minorities.

We are committed to helping where we can. We aim to provide immediate food packages which will cost us $50 per-family that will help them to stay home for one month. We request our friends and partners to join and help us to save these helpless minority families in this pandemic.

We are humbly requesting a commitment of $50 so you can partner up with us in saving these deprived communities. Please be generous in this hour of need.
